"Gentle" Ben Williams

We’ve begun collecting interviews for our upcoming documentary project on the integration of the University of Mississippi. We recently interviewed former defensive tackle Ben Williams talking about his time at Ole Miss. Ben was the first African American to play football at Ole Miss exactly ten years after James Meredith enrolled to become the first African American student.
